Re: Time for Nigel to organise?

I think that Nigel has made his suggestion.

That's fine.

I also think that Boris will keep that in mind almost until Polling day.

Boris will watch the bean counters (forecasters) - and take a decision much later than now. After all, he'll hope to get through it without any "deals" being required.

Nigel won't be happy with that - but he hasn't got much choice.

The best deal for Boris to remain PM, with a clear majority.

Trouble is, Cinders, that the media will be publishing all the negative personal & other bad stuff, about Boris, and the public will be stuffed full of it all by polling day.

Sew enough doubt, about his private life, his promises, his history, and he might well lose.

But, of course, our unbiased media will not do that!

The media have done their worst, and Boris no doubt will hedge his bets.

More problems for PM.

This strategist Cummings is the fly in the ointment, Boris needs to find somebody else, fast.

Re: Time for Nigel to organise?

Nigel has just announced that he will not be standing as a candidate in the election...where does that leave the Brexit party? How can it be a serious party without him?

You posted the same thing here:

to which I answered. My answer is the same here!

Why post the same thing on different threads?

Annie, it never was a serious party. What other policies did it or does have other than Brexit? It is only a one man band after all, one has only got to look at what happened to ukip after he slid back under his stone.

Maybe the so called great reptile is just running scared of losing for the ninth time.

Because it is relevant both to the election and to Brexit. I posted here first and then realised a lot of people who may find it interesting may not read the Brexit threads.

By withdrawing he is washing his hands of the party. It sends a strong message.
