I dont like shell food and that includes snails.
I feed my snails in the garden I dont believe in
killing them or the slugs. My poor Gertrude slug
would be very upset

All good answers but......the real reason why the French eat snails is...they don't like fast food.

On the contrary matey, the French also eat horse meat and they can be pretty damn fast!!!
