Re: Red or brown, why and where?

Don't like tomato sauce/ketchup at all.
I do occasionally have HP sauce with chips but use it mostly for flavouring stews/gravy etc.,

But -- for cheese on toast - it has to be Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce.

Mmmm, deeelish! I've never tried that!

I have bottles of both, but rarely use it. I do use a smidgen of brown sauce sometimes in my lobbies (corned beef hash), but I usually use my tomato sauce with curry powder mixed in to make chilli dogs, American style.

HP Sauce is my favourite too especially in the upside down squeezy bottle.

while I have tried to get my kids onto HP they prefer BBQ Sauce.

I am not a Tomato Sauce fan except a little on scrambled eggs, for some reason they go really well together.

Re: Red or brown, why and where?

Earlier in the year I discovered Spicy Brown Sauce (I think it was Morrison's own brand) ~ and it was really nice. Not too spicy or hot but just right to give certain foods a bit more of a tang. I've been looking for the last 3 weeks for some more, but it appears that they're not stocking it anymore!

Don't you just hate that! And if you ask an assistant, they say 'oh, there's no call for it' - erm, well if you don't stock it then I'm not surprised!
