I've never tried Zumba, but think I'd like it

Re: Yoga

Well, I had a lovely day at the Yoga Day. Saw lots of people I hadn't seen for a while, had lots of hugs given me, did lots of exercise, and even had a try at Laughter Yoga, which I've never done before. It really was fun and everyone ended up laughing naturally because the chap doing the tuition was genuinely funny. Such a good feeling is laughter.
We had a doctor come who talked us through a beautiful meditation.

They say your mind can be your enemy, or your friend, and one of the benefits of Yoga is, it brings your mind under control, it 'stills the fluctuating mind.' It benefits mind, body and spirit.

Then, to top it all, we had a very nice vegetarian lunch. What's more, the whole day was completely free of charge.

That's another thing I admire about the Hindu's and their Yoga. The English tutors I know of charge anything up to £10 p.h. But the Indian people want to share their knowledge of Yoga, without charging a penny.
Makes you wonder, don't it - who's in it for money, and who wants to help us look after ourselves better.

Re: Yoga

What a lovely day . And free , how kind. I hear what you say about others being in it for the money though. Wish I'd been there.

Re: Yoga

I know what you mean OG. But it'll get even harder if I don't keep trying.

Re: Yoga

Yes, it was Myra. They make me so welcome. I think that if I come out of somewhere feeling 10 times better than when I went in, then it's been well worth going.

It's fun Myra, exercise should be enjoyable that makes it's easier to keep it up, if you like music and dance you would like zumba.
