Aha. While you are here Judster, you needn't fret about preparing my Christmas dinner for me this year, as I decided not to risk your cooking, so have accepted an invitation out.

First time I have been treated to Christmas dinner out for many, many years, but you will agree us ladies deserve to be pampered, I know.

By lucky hap, I too am going out for me Christmas dinner so no cooking for me (apart from my usual leg of pork, roast tatties, pork stuffing with sage and onion, and a nice large Yorkshire pudding which I cook on boxing day. Me mouth's watering at the prospect.

That's usually followed by a small Xmas pudding with cream but as it will be fat camp the day after, I'll postpone that bit of luxury.

Anyway, enough talk about provender, it's making me hungry, so if one of my pillows is missing tomorrow I'll know why.

Thought I'd best have a quick look round and see if those awful men have been nosing about where they shouldn't.
