Thanks UJ as I'm fairly new to Wales I'm still learning.....Max Boyce is funny and Max Miller, I've never heard of.....too young maybe?

I used to like Billy Connolly and even went to a couple of his shows.
Sadly like so many he decided to push the bounds of decency too far.
His comments about the plight of Ken Bigley was beneath contempt and to further pour bile on top by insulting the poor mans wife was a step too far for me. Scum, springs to mind.

My favourite stand up comedian is Johnny Casson, he is a bit near the knuckle some times though.

Today's comedians don't appeal to me either, like Meg I found Morecambe and Wise hilarious ...... good family humour. I also used to like Tommy Cooper's 'funny' kind of humour too...

Oh Yes, lovely Michael Bentine - he always made me laugh. There is a sketch from Square World on You Tube - its about going into the Common Market , but I can't get it to work on here.
