Re: comedians

I thought about who my favourite comedians, both past and present have been. The names that come to mind from the past are people such as Frank Randle, George Formby. today we have ones such as Peter Kaye, Mike Harding.

There is however one that stands out above all the rest, despite the fact that he never achieved national fame. His name was Harry Pemberton. Even thinking about him and his Yorkshire Terrier makes me smile, despite the fact that a few years have gone by since he passed away.

Re: comedians

Harry Pemberton was absolutely brilliant and came from Wigan. I had the privilege of meeting this lovely bloke when we played the same gig years ago.

He was one of the funniest comedians I've ever seen.

Re: comedians

I always liked Dave Alan, Billy Connolly, and Jasper Carrot. I do quite like John Bishop.
