Another singer married an Italian ?Fields, she moved to Italy when the war started and made a lot of enemies I think.I think she was a lovely woman Betty Driver.

I think Betty Driver married a South African singer called Wally Peterson in 1953. Immediately after the marriage, he tried to change the way she dressed from glamorous gowns to shorter length skirts. Betty ended the marriage after 7 years because of her husband's various infidelities.
