Yes, it works. Told my friend about it-one of her dogs is always rolling, so keeps a bottle in her car along with some old cloths to put it on with. At least she can drive home with the smell of tomato sauce which is much more pleasant

I've read that the tomato sauce really does eliminate the worst of the odor .....

I will definitely remember this one then as fox poo is extremely hard to remove. Assume tomato sauce will work on anything dog rolls in

I just knew there was a use for tomato sauce!

Seriously though, I haven't heard of this, so thanks for the tip. Although have yet to find fox pooh in the garden, they don't normally stay that long. Hope Alfie doesn't start this habit (he's still on the learning curve), but if he does, I'll know what to do.
