Re: The Referee

You just know what's coming when you see the ears go flat and the tails start to swish.
But the stars ... were the dogs.

Re: The Referee

Absolutely................I've never seen a dog break up a cat fight before though.

Re: The Referee

I think I might have gone for the bucket of water or hose pipe.

i agree a bucket of water was needed clumsy, the dogs made a good effort to split up the fight.

Re: The Referee

That was brilliant. Having had several cats in one go at one time I was lucky in that my cats didn't fight between themselves (they didn't care ) but they did get into strife occasionally with other cats outside and I did go and break them up, chasing the intruder off. Not easy, I know.

It tickled me with the third cat pretending not to be interested then sat as a spectator!

Well done those dogs though.

Re: The Referee

My MIL's cat left home and moved in with neighbours for some reason. After a while she got another cat and all seemed well, then neighbours moved house and took Tiger with them, he didn't like it there and left home and returned to my MIL's. Took him a week to get there but when he did he attacked MIL's cat and injured him so badly he had to be put to sleep.

Re: The Referee

Aye, cats can be vicious as they're very territorial. The one I have now moved in uninvited almost three years ago, but he terroristed my three cats who were then all still alive.

Billie insisted on moving in and, although he attacked me quite badly at the beginning, and now that my other three have died, he's the most loveable animal as this is now HIS territory.

Savage little critters. They sure made the fur fly.
