Anything but. Don't confuse the tools it uses in order to absorb and then dominate what were independent states with the root intentions of the horrible power holders within the corrupt undemocratic European Commission.

The EU is now more of a real and present threat to Europe than the USSR ever was.
It's a capitalist utopia created directly as a counter to Marxism spreading in Europe. The whole idea was a US move to protect its markets. Of course they don't want it to go off and ring fence that wealth or become a power itself. That was never the plan.

Sorry, wrong. The Lisbon treaty made it very clear and beyond all doubt what the intentions that the European Commission were up to.

The socialist worker is a marxist publication which was created in the 60s / 70s and has nothing whatsoever to do with the EU. Socialism and marxism - is there a difference?
