I don't see us leaving with no deal. Boris likes continuation. He will do his best to achieve BRINO. The rest will be bark not bite.
Guarantee supply chains regarding what ?

Do you realise how difficult it is to rework just in time manufacturing ?

Hi

We will just have to wait and see what the big foreign owned manufacturers do after the outcome of the Trade Deal with the EU is known.

It will be the same as it is now. If you remember I explained about inward and outward processing a while back.

No, the EU wants a deal too. We have to replace the trade with the UK with other partners.
The internal market is there to protect members against competition from cheaper producing countries. E.g. lambs from the UK will probably be replaced by import from new zealand.
The british will, and can, eat their own produce because it matches the british internal market demand. You will not need to import any yourself. But oops, you have an agreement that obliges you to buy new zealand lamb. Since it is cheaper, what will happen to local produce?
So you will import cheap mutton from new zealand (the agreement abolishes import tariffs), but if you want to export your own to the EU the wto-rules say you have to pay tariffs, making it unattractive for the european market.

The automotive industry has been consistent and united – a ‘no deal’ Brexit would have a devastating impact on the sector and the hundreds of thousands of jobs it supports. It would end frictionless trade, add billions to the cost of importing and exporting and put jobs at risk. We believe that a ‘no-deal’ should be taken off the table for good to end damaging uncertainty that has undermined investor confidence and forced companies to spend millions on ‘no deal’ continguency planning.

Government must secure a future deal with the EU which guarantees frictionless trade and the free movement of goods between the UK and the EU; retains the UK’s preferential trading relationships with third countries such as Japan, Canada, South Korea and Turkey; and maintains the sector’s ability to access EU talent and move employees freely across sites in the UK and EU.

Re: EU "Stop BrExit" Next Phase

Well I'm certain the EU will try to block Brexit. I doubt that they will, though.
There is too much support now in this country for Boris and for a true Brexit.

I'd like to think that having 'left' the EU in January (yet continuing to pay their fees!) it will just be a matter of discussing 'deals'. Despite all their bluster, the EU must realise that any deal must benefit US as well as THEM.

Sure, it goes against the grain for them to give in to anything, they being so used to their diktats being obeyed without question. Fortunately, though, this worm has turned!

Block brexit? Only in your imagination!
And of course a deal must benefit both parties. The point is, the UK must try to make a deal attractive for the EU, otherwise no deal. That is a point that still has to sink in on the british side. Like your post is an example in fact.

You have been emphasizing for some time that britain's most important export product is services. Now the new government recognizes that too. Last week the new members of parliament received this information:

Brexit: Boris Johnson ‘to launch Taskforce Europe’ negotiating team in charge of future relationship talks with EU

Boris Johnson*will reportedly set up a new negotiating team in Downing Street to spearhead talks about*the UK’s future relationship and trading agreement with the EU after*Brexit.
The team – called “Taskforce Europe” – is expected to be operational by 31 January*and coincides with the*Department for Exiting the European Union*(DExEU) ceasing to exist as a Whitehall department.
The new taskforce will be responsible for overseeing the*UK’s future relationship with the EU after Brexit, including difficult negotiations about a free trade agreement.*
