It's, surely, a fact of life, that when anyone feels a challenge, on something they believe strongly in, emotions can rise.

I don't like the word "trolling" (making a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them) but, I do get wound up, myself, occasionally.

It's just, in most cases, a natural human response.

"Walk on By", as they say!"

I would wholeheartedly agree with that, but when you're the one repeatedly targetted because they don't like your opinions it detracts from the forum.
Not just for myself, I hasten to add.
As before, I'm pretty sure that it's putting others off participating in this area of the forum.

So many of the posts I make are being targetted this way despite no reference being made to elicit such a response and I've ignored many.
Too many it would appear since it seems to encourage more of the same.
Now I'm taking a stand and I'm saying "enough is enough".

And in response to an earlier comment, the good thing about this forum is that we are all allowed to disagree if we want to, providing of course that we do so politely!

Well, in theory, in practice we do not collect Tariffs from the EU because we are not ready to do so.

This annoys me intensely, I would not give the EU an inch or a penny.

They can swan off.
On that one point, why are we paying 'legacy payments' to the EU?

Why aren't the EU paying 'legacy payments' to us - for example, the contributions we have made to their Galileo satellite system and their vast number of buildings in Brussels?

All were taken into account before a final figure was arrived-at.
Allegedly.

Why?
Think of it as being a bit like taking a car out on PCP and returning it early, with a few scratches to the bodywork too.

But paying what we owe has nowt to do with BRINO.
Mostly because we've left.
As the OP says.

Re: Brino

BRINO ?

we've left the EU but our sovereignty includes our natural resources and keeping our union together.

Other than that I'm OK with it but we really need to get a grip on fisheries and Northern Ireland. Nobody voted for a 75% Brexit.

Nobody voted for anything other than to either leave the EU or to remain.
We've left, 100%.

,

As Bread has just said, it's not brexit, it's your conceptof brexit
where we are left without regaining control of our territory ??
How can it be brexit without that??
I was one of the main aims of of going through all this crap and was
Promised by legions of Tory politicians untill push came to shove ??
In fact they all signed an agreement to honour the vote?
And as the vote was leave , and leave means regaining territory then
it follows that what we have is BRINO !!
If you can't see that, then you don't want to !!

Exactly what I have been arguing for months.

Unfortunately, remoaners just cannot grasp that or, rather, they don't want to simply because they desperately want to remain subject to the rule of the EU Commission...

...for God only knows what reason!

Some people are happy to give our natural resources away to unelected bureaucracies that we are no longer part of and that we still pay billions to, in return for having our vaccines denied and a part of our union handed over to their rules, breaking it up and breaking uk law and the GFA.

That's OK for some brexiteers, not me and millions of others.
