Re: Another one for Judd

A pound to a pinch of sh*t your cabinet doors won't fit either without modification - the pre-drilled holes for the hinges are in a different place. I had this problem myself a while ago.

Re: Another one for Judd

Luckily on that one Judd I have the jig plates for the door hinge holes, what is a problem though, in taking the 30mm off, I have lost the groove that carries the hardboard back panel, under normal circumstances, I would have just glued this directly to the wall, but, there is a cable for the under cupboard lights which would have sat in the cavity will now be inside the cupboard so, another bit of modification called for.

Re: Another one for Judd

Is there enough overlap on the back panel to allow it to be tacked to the back of the cabinet with small nails/pins?

You can see Judd, I have about 20mm to the rear shelf support holes, so, could just about create a void, but you know me, the cable will probably end up re-routed.

The hinge holes look to be playing the game.

Glue/screw some shallow battens to the back wall to create a space and fix the back-panel to the battens?

Cables out Judd.

Back and shelves in.

Time to source some old stock doors now.
