Re: Mini stroke

Christ on a bike Caricature, puts my recent scrapes into perspective does that. One thing I find pleasing is the prompt response by 111 - round of applause to them for answering the phone so quickly. Personally, it would have been 999 but, never mind, things are sorted for you now and I hope in the future too.

Yikes, that must have been pretty scary for you both. Glad you got seen to promptly and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Just reading your second post below:

Could it have been an inner ear thing? Where the slightest movement makes you feel very nauseous and it looks like the floor is tilting up at you and the walls moving. Just a thought.

Re: Mini stroke

Sounds almost the same for me caricature, but wirhout the vomiing
I am glad to say!
Woke up early, went to the loo, and whilst sitting on the throne
noticed my vision was wobbly and told donkeywoman something was
up! but as she was going shopping 80kms away, and l had to go down
to the river to pump up water for some geusts we were expecting
over the week end l decided to to this and as this process took about
6hrs to complete l was busy for quite a whileduring which time l
became aware that something was no quite right and l lost the path
to the river once whilst taking more fuel to the pump?
Next morning l noticed that l couldnt see the first four letters of the
the authors name on book laying on a shelf, which was Richard
Dawkins, all l could see was ---ard ----kins unless l held the book
vertical??
This lead to a doctors app and then a brain scan etc!
Now l have what seems to be permanent loss of vision in the lower
left quarter ot my field of vision! Plus some lack of co-- cordination?
Which possibly explains some of the crap l write on OFF??

Donkeyman! 🤔🤔🤔

Re: Mini stroke

Ah Caricature ... that will have been scary .You just know it's serious don't you when it happens.
I was the same with my brain aneurysm ... I was in the garden pottering about amongst my flower tubs, just stood up and it felt like a pile of concrete slammed down ontop of my head.
I knew summat was really wrong so slowly walked back indoors and that was scary as I was vomiting and kept listing to the left even though I was walking a straight line.
Ambulance people were great.

You take it easy ... be careful and most important, try not to fret too much if you can.
