Looks or personality?
What attracts you to a person, is it their looks or their personality, or both?
I have mentioned before that I have never been interested in what a person looks like, it is their personality which counts with me.
When I met the chap I married for their first time, when he was nearly 18 and I was 15, I was drawn to his high intelligence and interesting conversation. We found each other fascinating, and continued our 'courtship' such as it was, by letter and phone calls, only seeing each other during the school and university hols. It would never have occurred to me to dress up for him, or worse still get him interested in my physical attributes, the idea of 'flirting' would have given me the creeps. Still it worked for us, we married four years after we met, reaching our 50th year of marriage next year.
I realise people will think me weird, (not that has ever bothered me) but beauty is only skin deep, personality is life long.
