Very true Judd. Juncker will be leaving his position soon and we all know who has been pulling his strings from day one when he was given the position, this is the person in line to take over the reins. I refer of course to the unelected but very ambitious, Brit-hating Martin Sellmayr. Nothing, but nothing regarding negotiations gets past him.
It's well known that he was thrilled to bits when Brexit happened as he has always viewed Britain as a bloody nuisance EU member, due to our loathing of further European integration. It is also well known that he is intent on making sure the UK takes a punishment beating for leaving, not because of the laughable red line principles that Barnier holds up for the world to see (and which they have bent many a time to suit themselves) but because Sellmayr wants to rub our face in the mud so the likes of Italy and Greece may see how futile it is to ever contemplate leaving the EU. After all, if he can humiliate a great nation like ours, (and he is getting great help from many here at home), he will be feted as the all-conquering hero.
His aim is simple, he would rather see a no-deal than say yes to anything that would accommodate the UK.
