I hate autumn,it is so depressing

It says to me that another other year is dying and it serves as a reminder that one more from my limited supply has gone.

I don't hate it - but I don't like it.

It makes me depressed too for the same reasons as Meg.

I agree it's sometimes how you look at it - the soil needs autumn - the farmers need autumn - it's signalling a time for rest - all through the summer the harvest has grown and been picked and now we need to give the soil a chance to replenish.

maybe our own lives are a bit like that - racing through the summer months enjoying ourselves and now we need a time to slow down - relax more and replenish. Apart from my city years I lived most of my time in UK till I departed in rural settings and enjoyed watching the changing season.

Indian summers were of course always special and appreciated.

But autumn special too - those beautiful colors as the leaves changed and slowly dropped to the ground - hot summers faded and cooler autumns - lit evening fires and rugged up early evening walks before closing down for the night. Yes for me there was a magic in autumn - it has it's own personality - it isn't summer or winter - it's a very colorful autumnal orange/brown/ grey whatever!

I love it! The colours, the smells, a nice nip in the air.

Sorry I love Autumn.

Why because I pick the harvest that I have grown...A basic need.

I also look forward to spring when I plant the seeds that I need to grow for autumn.

Autumn is the time of the Quote "As you sow shall you reap"

As they say on GoT... Winter is coming

PS please do not ask what GoT means
