Sorry, I am stressed.
When Phyllis was young she was always passing out on me, mostly in the church at mass on Sundays and a few times in the cinema, she never fainted outdoors however, I always wondered why that was.
She was anaemic and the doctor put her on iron tablets, as she got older the fainting got less and less and finally disappeared altogether.

We need Pug to explain to us how these geezers of yore lived so long, my guess is that they had very short years then, a completely different calendar before Julius Caesar set then on the right track with his new improved version, although he balls it up and they had to introduce the leap year thing much later. yes never heard anyone suggest the 'short year' theory - now that needs looking into to year by year by year! - you got plenty of time Jem!
