Boris' deadline passed!!

Am l dreaming?
I thought Boris said that if insufficient progress was made in these
recent non talks, then we would start preparing for no deal in earnest?
Well its time to start isnt it?
Never mind Barmy Barny cleverly kicking the can to october about
a month ago, we should stick to the Boris deadline he layed down??
Its time to fill in our WTO application forms !!
Barny is only spinning things out while his fifth column in uk
continue their sabotage !!

Re: Boris' deadline passed!!

Not so sure, according to Frost, progress is being made so it would be reasonable to think at the last minute, some sort of deal will be done.

At the moment it looks like a very slimline trade deal based on zero tariffs and quotas of goods and nothing much else, which is great as far as I'm concerned.

As far as WTO is concerned, we just start trading as all our tariffs and schedules are registered.

Re: Boris' deadline passed!!

Hi

Boris is very fond of deadlines, but he never sticks to them.

We have missed the deadline for being ready for No Deal on !st January.

That is why we are giving the EU a free run until next June.

We are already Full Members of the WTO and have published out WTO MFN Schedules.

This an essential part of Brexit.

We are however way behind schedule on the systems and Infrastructure.

We are also way behind on staffing and training.

Pritti Patel is by far the worst in that respect.

I seem to remember us leaving the EU on the 31st January as planned Swimmy.

A no-deal Brexit is a no brainer - as a member of the EU we have "no deal" with the USA, Australia, China etc and its never hindered our trade. I'm just glad your no longer part of the civil service otherwise we would be well and truly screwed

You just haven't paid attention. Michael gove already started those preparations more than a month ago. Apparently boris didn't believe his own statement on a deal be ready by end of july.

Any deal will do, as long as boris can sell it to brexiters as a great victory. Given the level of eager denseness present in most of them, that should be possible for someone like dominque cummins.

Our single market has much more value to you than yours does to us.

Just remember that when we have better trading terms with everyone else but the EU
