$27m settlement
In the largest pre-trial settlement in U.S. history, the city of Minneapolis has agreed to pay the family of George Floyd $27 million dollars for the police killing of Mr. Floyd.Obviously the city believes that to wait any longer, they would have to pay an even larger amount when Derek Chauvin will almost certainly be found guilty.
