08:00 - 10:45 today, spent on ms teams (skype/zoom type joint meeting) getting kicked by the cops.

Done one back in 2017, all clear now, though it stays on your insurance record for five years

My experience yesterday was a little chaotic, with the odd technical hitch, background noise from children & pets ... helped pass the time.

Oh, I thought only driving licence penalty points could effect your insurance. But they know about who's done the Speed Awareness Course do they?

Yes, well they did warn us beforehand. And Maybe these people did "fail". You don't know how it went till you receive the email. Got mine about six hours later.

My husband is doing one on the 22nd of this month......he was doing 35 in a 30 limit. I'll get him to read this thread

I don't know if the courses vary, but mine was painless. They don't ask about how/when/where you got caught, nothing personal. It's serious but upbeat, talking about the dangers of speeding. And there's some quite interesting stuff about how to know what's the speed limit without seeing signs, ie 30 or less where there are street lamps. They ask you by name maybe just one question, like what stresses you when diving: where there's no right or wrong answer. Teacher discuses, everyone nods in agreement.
