Deportation flight cancelled !!

The deportation of criminals back to their home country,(jamaica)
Was cancelled due to interventions by black activists andHR
lawyers, citing due process and othr reasons to to get the flight
cancelled , they also pressured the airline not to take them !!
Surel due process was followed when they were convicted??
What happens susequently to them shold be considered to be
merely a prison transfer back to their home countries risons
whre they shuld feel more at home ??
Why do these groups insist on storing criminals in or prisons
at r cost ??

"...when you and other Labour MPs continue to call for the Government to stop this flight, I would implore you to think of the victims of these criminals’ shameful offences...This flight is about criminality, not nationality.

“Staying in this country is a privilege, not a right. This Government will never stand by and allow foreign criminals, who have no right to remain, to walk free on our streets.”

Germany deports foreigners who commit crimes, and their appeals procedure is far more restrictive than ours AND they are ECHR members.
Quite why then these do-gooders object so strongly to us deporting criminals is baffling.
Hurry up and get the loopholes closed, Priti Patel.

As far as I am aware the flight has not been 'cancelled' but some of those due for deportation were removed from the flight due to the intervention of a number of people including among others Jeremy Corbyn and Caroline Lucas who both Tweeted about it .
Deportation flight to Jamaica departs without 37 of the 50 passengers due to fly

So the flight left but the convicted criminals didnt then Meg ??
Was it a special flight or a scheduled one?
I assumenit would be a special flight chartered by the home office
complete with guards etc and no NORMAL assengers were aboard
other than crew??
Why would the home office respond to a few tweets from out of
work politicians ???
This beggars belief!!

Exactly this. A mere seven were deported - conflating the deportation of rapists, drug dealers and murderers with the Windrush Generation. Wonder how these politicians and blinkered fools would feel if it was someone in their immediate family who was raped or murdered?

On a related note, the trail of Eltiona Skana, the illegal immigrant who murdered six-year-old Emily Jones with a Stanley Knife is on trial for the murder. Skana arrived in the UK illegally hidden in a HGV. Her request for asylum was refused in 2018 but instead of being deported was allowed to disappear into the community. In 2019, she almost beheads little Emily who was in a park playing on her scooter.

Her defence team are using the oft-used excuse of diminished responsibility because she had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia (very convenient). The prosecution is contending that she was hiding behind the diagnosis and had in fact intended to kill someone. Poor little innocent Emily became her victim.

This person and others like her are being defended by do-gooders fighting to prevent their deportation.

But this woman was Albanian (European) not Jamaican.

She is currently on trial, but no one has tried to deport her have they?
