We are our own worst enemy again

Hi

A released terrorist is coming back to the UK.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55275997

We should not have had him back.

He is Egyptian and he should have gone there or Kenya.

He is wanted in both those Countries and sod his human rights.

He is being released back here early because he is fat.

Put him on a diet.

Hi

Human Rights Legislation is what protects ordinary people.

It was not designed for Terrorists.

Rather worryingly, his son is also a terrorist. Can't really see daddy being a calming influence on the lad.

Somewhat like Begum, this all looks to be too much of a risk.

It was brought into law to protect the rights of all PEOPLE. It doesn't discriminate on which people.

What I would like to see are changes introduced that starts something along the lines of "Everyone has certain responsibilities which results in them having certain rights"

That followed by setting out the consequences of failure to abide by those responsibilities limiting the rights that they are then entitled to.

Hi

I have repeatedly posted about our stupidity in this.

Pr[tti Patel and her predecessor, May are idiots.

I simply do not understand why so many on here think they are doing a good job.

It is a disaster.

Simple fact of life.

It was a disaster when May was in charge, both as home \secretary and then Prime Minister.

Nobody thought it could get any worse.

Pritti has proved it can.

But what can be done is limited by international law and the legislation we MUST comply with untill the conclusion of the ridiculous transition period.

This man should not be alive to be brought back - he should have been executed - quietly and without publicity - as should all proven terrorists.

Serving his full term would be a start. If he caught covid and died from it, then that's life. As we all know, many people who are not in prison get it and die. It should not be used as an excuse to release him early. Apart from anything else, it sets a precedence for other "at risk" prisoners to argue a case for early release.
