Hair removal..

I've only just heard about this device. The Philips Lumea IPL hair removal system. Apparently it works by zapping the unwanted hairs with light waves. Wow - that's something I haven't heard of before. It's a bit costly though at £300 plus...

Would you buy one?

Re: Hair removal..

no I wouldn't, it doesn't stop regrowth permanently so it's no better than other forms of hair removal like NoNo

Re: Hair removal..

I just watched the video. I would not buy one. IMO this takes too long, I think it is easier to just shave your legs or use Nair.

Re: Hair removal..

We have a hairdresser come to the house to do Sheila's hair and she cuts mine every few weeks. Nose hairs I just pull out and ear hairs, I have a gadget that I use every few months............all my other hairy bits are left to their own devices !

Re: Hair removal..

Waxing seems to be the most popular method of hair removal these days - ouch

Re: Hair removal..

Whatever method used to remove hair ( (with the exception of electrolysis ) it will grow back so I take the cheapest option and use a razor on my hairy legs
