I have relatives in Maroubra Beach NSW and watching all the events unfolding is like watching something from a film. You can't take the enormity of it all in. It's too big and so out of hand to seem real and yet is is..My thoughts are with you all

An inevitable consequence of the anthropogenic effects on climate change. Admittedly annual bush burn-outs are a regular events but what is taking place as regards climate change is now global and the severity will also be increasingly be more pronounced.

I've been to places that were about -25C in the winter that got to +30C in the summer. The humidity has a lot to do with it too.
In the event, it got up to a searing 5C here on our second stroll but no wind. Good warm coat does the business.
