Some really lovely replies to this thread. So I would just say all of your replies for me too. Other things off the cuff....When he is considerate enough to buy me a gift that has come out of his own savings account and not out of our Joint Bank Account! (I don't want to pay half towards my gift from him, thank you!).
When I have had a bad cold or flu, look and feel like hell, but he still calls me beautiful, fusses over me and insists on making me a bowl of soup, with me sitting on the sofa with a tray to eat it rather than at the table in the kitchen.
Let's me pick his clothes to buy because I know what looks good on him more than he does.
Stays looking good - for me!
Tells me at least once a day I L Y.
And lastly, actually listening and focusing on what I am saying - even when the football is on!
