Octoberfest
It is supposed to rain today so I took off for Mt Angel and its yearly "Oktoberfest" early. I was there two hours before they opened and two hours before the rain started.I think the folks in Mt Angel built their entire town to look like a European town in the Bavarian Alps. They really get into it with full costumes. I only had time to photograph a few of the permanent buildings before the rain set in but I think you'll get the idea. As I was leaving all the food vendors were firing up their carts and it sure smelled. I skated in and out before having to pay the $12 entrance fee. A poor man does what he can.
