Re: No Problem

I never realised no problem could be a problem - anyone asks me to do stuff I always reply no problem. Hey at least I do the task whether it be extra rubbish to be cleared from in an office or whatever. I could just say sorry not my job and then people would have something to complain about

You're making me laugh today gal
Its not really a problem, but sometimes a problem to those that see it as a problem. Some words and phrases grate on me, with others it would not be a problem .....

My saying is "It's my pleasure" AC. I guess that's more to your taste.

I don't have a problem with 'no problem' either by which I mean 'it is no trouble at all for me to do that ' so perhaps I will say that instead future

'No problem' is also a quick and handy text reply when asked 'are you free to have the children/babysit on suchandsuch a day' when I know a quick response is required by my DIL.

Re: No Problem

I think the hardest language to learn would be English. There are so many words or phrases that mean the same thing, some words are spelled the same but are pronounced differently
For example rough, bough, through.
Reminds me of when Lucy Ricardo was trying to teach Ricky proper English on I Love Lucy

The only time no problem"could" bother me is when you're paying for an item, you say to the cashier "thanks or thank you" & she comes back with"no problem". She doesn't even look at you. That's when it's very flip sounding.
