Re: Memory Loss
My memory isn't too bad I have my scatty moments though and always have had them, my husband however has lost big portions of his long term memory and his short term memory isn't great. After his stroke we were lucky though as he remembered us all and it could have been far worse we were told.Re: Memory Loss
Well it was certainly the opposite with my Dad, he was taking prescribed drugs since he was a young man, he had TB for 10 years, then he was on heart drugs, pain killers for back pain and more, he had a tablet for everything. I remember seeing him taking his daily dose of tablets one morning, he had them all laid out on the kitchen table and began to swallow them one by one, I joked that it might be easier to take them if he made a tablet sandwich with a cup of tea. The point I'm making is that he was 93 when he died and his memory was as sharp as a pin. On the other hand I avoid taking drugs and am not on any prescribed medicine and I'm always forgetting things, my memory is not good, so it doesn't effect everybody the same way.
