Forgetfullness

Do you find as you've got older you forget things ?
I'm terrible, i've got bits of paper all over the house. Even taking a list with me to the shops , there are times i'll come home without something. But i don't think i've ever been as bad as this guy.

He drove off and left his daughters at the Motorway services, and only realised 90mins later when the police contacted him
What have you forgotten ?

I have a very good memory for things which happened in my youth even as far back as when I was born and in the maternity home! But my memory, whilst not terrible, is certainly not as good as it was these days.

I do try some memory exercises, of my own construction, which seem to help a bit.

Re: Forgetfullness

I'm not too bad, I do occasionally forget things, I do write a shopping list out when I do my weekly shopping, although I probably don't have to because I get the same shopping every week and most of the time when i'm walking around the store I don't look at my list.

I've forgotten to check where my storeroom keys are before taking the lock off the latch and shutting it

The last time I did it..
They were inside the storeroom

Re: Forgetfullness

I cannot got shopping without a list even if it's just for a few things.

Also I buy things and put them in a safe place for later only to discover that when I need them I can't find them
