We used to love the comic annuals at Christmas, one of the best presents ever, my brother and I got either the Dandy or Beano then swapped when we had read our own. Happy times....

Yes, I used to put my kids' annuals under their pillows on Christmas Eve for a bit of peace!

I used to get a comic called COR!
I bet no one remebers that one!
My Nan always used to buy for me when I visited and when she came to us.

The 1st issue of COR!! was in 1970 ......I'm afraid I was past the age for comics then!

I used to have Sparky and had the first ever one out and still remember the free gift that come with it.

I lived in Notting Hill in the 60s. It would have been pretty hard NOT to be part of the scene.
