I agree it's sometimes how you look at it - the soil needs autumn - the farmers need autumn - it's signalling a time for rest - all through the summer the harvest has grown and been picked and now we need to give the soil a chance to replenish.
maybe our own lives are a bit like that - racing through the summer months enjoying ourselves and now we need a time to slow down - relax more and replenish. Apart from my city years I lived most of my time in UK till I departed in rural settings and enjoyed watching the changing season.
Indian summers were of course always special and appreciated.
But autumn special too - those beautiful colors as the leaves changed and slowly dropped to the ground - hot summers faded and cooler autumns - lit evening fires and rugged up early evening walks before closing down for the night. Yes for me there was a magic in autumn - it has it's own personality - it isn't summer or winter - it's a very colorful autumnal orange/brown/ grey whatever!
