I was looking all over for the "adder". as in snake..Realspeed .

About 15 years ago when living at our previous property I went out for my daily walk, when I discovered a snake crossing the lane. I was afraid it would get runover so picked it up by the head. It wasn't a bit grateful and bit my wellie when I put it down on the grass verge. It was only later I realised it must have been an adder.
