New Exercise for Over Fifties

EXERCISE FOR PEOPLE OVER 50

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you
have plenty of room at each side.

With a 2kg potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight
out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can.
Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.
After a couple of weeks, move up to 5kg potato bags.

Then try 25kg potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you
can lift a 50kg potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight
for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.

Got another exercise for you Cate darlin' - sit in comfortable armchair, place feet up on foot stool. Waggle toes. Repeat twice daily - that's my exercise done for the day!!!

Thought it a very good jibe Cate.
Then I realise I have to pick up, luckily not everyday, a 30 litre sack of cat litter. I have just done a conversion on
the weight and its 10.5 kilos or over one and a half stone. No wonder
it was heavy. Getting told old for that kind of exercise, I think I will
continue with my 2 mile walk aday.
