Any fitness goals this year?

Do you have any fitness goals this year?

Apart from the usual 'must get fitter', I want to be able to touch my toes again

I can do that Azz, . . I can still tie my shoe laces too, . . I might do a bit of work around the home this year so that'll keep me fit.

Re: Any fitness goals this year?

I am aiming to lose that nasty 2 stone I've gained over the past few years. We are expecting a delivery next week of a new treadmill and rower bought at the Argos sale. We cleared out the front bedroom, finally getting rid of my sons lingering belongings, now he has his own place. I'm also aiming to use the room to make a place for my sewing machine.
Wow, after this year I will be thinner, fit and much more crafty!! WHOO HOO!!

Good luck with that kozmic tulip. Try not to let the resolve weaken. I think that's always the danger as time goes by.

I'm resolving to take up neck exercises myself. Sounds silly I know but I cycle quite a bit and I can't look from side to side at crossroads without twisting my whole body to a degree. I'll do exercises in private because if start twisting my head around in public, people will start twisting their heads around as well, trying to see what I'm looking for.

I'm definitely going to try to lose weight so I'll be pedalling away on the exercise bike as much as possible.

Also I'll be doing regular daily back strengthening exercises so that I don't have to put up with excruciating back pain so often.

I tried one of those Mags, . . pedalled like hell for hours and got nowhere.

I know the feeling Nero, it wouldn't be so bad if there was a change of scenery either!

Re: Any fitness goals this year?

I'm continuing my WiiFit and WiiFit Plus which, despite stupid names, are great fun
I will not be aiming to meet their suggested weight/BMI which would see me at a weight I haven't been since I was about 13 I think that's a bit crazy. Keeping moving without pain and staying a size 12 (even though size 12 has grown since I was young) will do me fine.

Nice one guys! Hope you all reach your goals

I want to get a six pack too - but I'm not holding my breath for that one

Good luck to you all with your fitness regime.

I started my healthy eating plan yesterday, so we'll see how we do. I can't even see my feet Azz, never mind touch them
