Re: Shivering Thursday

Hi everyone, it's dry and sunny here but we have a strong, cold wind blowing - this morning I was picking up pots and small containers that had blown all over the garden.

Went to the Health Centre a couple of hours ago to have my flu jab ........ the best one I've had so far, I didn't even feel a scratch!

Enjoy the day everyone!

That's good, I've got mine on Saturday morning. We literally walk in the front door, the nurses jab us and then round out of the door again. Hardly time to roll your sleeve up!
Last year we had a smashing treat, the local firemen (swoon) were there to advise us on fire alarms, I'd taken my little grandson to show him what an injection was like and how it didn't hurt and they let him climb into the fire-engine.

Re: Shivering Thursday

Hi all, brilliant sun here and the warming trend continues. Nearing 11 am and 17 C (63 F). Have my annual eye doctor visit this afternoon, banking, and may do a gin run as long as we're out. That's about all that's happening.

Sorry your weather seems so unpleasant, I hope it warms up a bit soon, and hope Loki is better.

Re: Shivering Thursday

Freezing cold here today. Extremely high winds and torrential rain. I wore my sheepskin jacket to go to work for the first time in a long time, and I had a full length skirt on ('cos I'm sick of trousers) and me ankle boots. Central heating is on now.

It was cold last night as well, and even me old cat came to bed with me to keep warm.
