Old cars - new cars..

Which do you prefer, for me I loved the old cars 50's thru 70's, loved the chrome you see - and the styles, 'cos they 'had' style. Why couldn't they just improve the mechanics side and leave the 'style'....

The style was nice but I would miss my CD player, aircon, central locking. electric windows etc. etc.

Our old mark 4 cortina was the best car ever IMO, but I wouldn't swap any car for our CRV - too easy with dogs it's a dream !

Re: Old cars - new cars..

I miss my Volvo 440 (1990s) which I had for 16 years .

I have a practical little Fiesta now which feels very tinny and has lots of buttons with functions I am unaware of...

Re: Old cars - new cars..

Well my Husband and I, have got a Vintage Car - Morris 8 two seater tourer - 1936, and we love it. My husband bought it from Hippies back in 1972, it was a skeleton of a car with pink naked ladies painted all over it, being that my Husband is in the trade and a hobby, he restored the car back to its normal self.
