Diana, Princess of Wales

There are new enquiries being opened up about her death. What are your views?

I believe she was murdered.

Who knows? who cares? if it was murder it had to be state sanctioned and if it was, as Bradley Manning and Edward Snowdon have shown, the chance of getting the truth are remote.

Another dead end and waste of time.

TBH I never felt easy about the previous enquiries, something has always felt wrong about it all. I am no fan of Mr Fayed but he deserves to know the truth so I hope he gets the truth and can make peace with it all.

Agree with that sentiment totally, doubt it will happen.
Although I believe there are many questions unanswered and very dubious circumstances, the only witness being found dead for one - I feel for the boys, especially at this time. Pity it couldn't have been hushed up for now.
I doubt we will ever know the truth.

Would we say that if it were our son or our daughter ? Don't forget how Brady's victims parents kept trying to find out the truth. When it happens to you letting them rest can only happen after you know what has happened.

Good point, Julie, but there must come a time when enough is enough - particularly with all the weird theories they keep expounding.

My view is any new enquiry is a waste of time and public money. I understand the source of the new 'evidence' is dubious.
If there is an enquiry and nothing new is found as I am sure would be the case, the conspiracy theorists won't accept it anyway.
