British driving laws are an ass.
3 years ago i had to let one of my employee's the push.he'd started drinking heavily and become a safety risk.
He got prosecuted for Drink Drive and received an 18 month ban.
I heard this morning that he got pulled up again....refused the roadside breath test and was taken to the police station where he refused the intoximeter test.
He was charged with failing to give a breath specimen.
In court he was given a 12 month ban.
Had he failed a test he'd have been banned for around 3 years as it was his 2nd offence.
Talk about a loophole in the law....outrageous.

It seems that our laws are full of loopholes. No wonder the criminal element laugh at them.

Another trick was to keep your insurance going whilst banned which did away with the need to re-insure and show your licence once the ban was over....you just kept the same company.
