I don't actually believe that.

Only the will of slightly more than half the people, Bread. I'm one of the people, and it wouldn't have been against my will.

I don't see why we can't just not institute customs regulations at all
on our side of the border ??
If EU or ROI require one, surely it is up to them ??
Why must NI be involved at all, especially as now the so called
"road bridge" has fallen out of favour!!
Good riddance, l say? It will cut down on pollution of many kinds !!

Hi

WTO Rules are absolutely clear, if we do not institute Customs Regulations with the EU we cannot institute them with anyone else.

NI is involved as it is part of the UK, not part of the EU and the Good Friday Agreement prohibits a fixed Border in NI.

I always knew that we would have to have a Border and one in the Irish Sea is fine by me.

Boris has gone for a very hard Brexit, only one step short of No Deal, there is a price to pay for it.

A Norway or a Switzerland arrangement would have done for me.

I wanted out because I did not want any further Integration and our Politicians were selling us down the road.

They still are as regards Fishing, it is a nightmare for our fisheries.

We don't need customs borders located on geographical borders. It's a myth We have goods inspections at point of destination all over the world.

"The will of the people" is a misleading term; it implies all the people, which is not the case. Besides, the majority might have voted for out, but they didn't vote for any specific details, so you can't possibly know what is against their will, other than remaining in the EU.

Should I point out that our government also don't make anything and yet they run the country?

We will ignore that these "think tanks" you disparage are responsible for so much in our lives shall we?
Examples invclude the government's approach to vaccinations, and look how that has worked out so far.

No it doesn't that's why we had a referendum to decide.
