Full Moon.

Do you believe some people can be affected by it?

Serious or funny?

Re: Full Moon.

Well the moon controls the tides so no surprise it affects humans and animals too. I wonder what would happen if we had no tides....

Doesn't seem to bother people on the Mediterranean coast, and there's no tides there to speak of since it amounts to a few centimetres in there, if my old Geography teacher wasn't lying.

Re: Full Moon.

Which would indicate that people closer to the N/S poles are likely to be more loopy at this time?

Apparently, Romans in the Mediterranean did have much by way of tides. When they got to Britain they were a bit fluxomed by the Atlantic tides.

My geography teacher told me about that.

Re: Full Moon.

I am a moonchild (astrology sign), and I have often said if I were locked up in a windowless room for months, I would most certainly know when there is a full moon......
Yes, it affects moods. When I worked with the State police, we always knew there would be more officers needed on nights with a full moon. It showed through statistics for years.

BTW, it makes you more emotional, and often times, more sensual. Jest say'n....
