Re: After midnight

Always in the land of nod after midnight. Well maybe not always asleep, if I'm having a bad night, but I'm always in bed before the clock strikes 12.

When I was young I used to love the silence and intense darkness of sitting outside in the early hours, gazing up at the stars and listening to the sounds of nocturnal wildlife. Unlike today, traffic would be non-existent through the night, the sky would be inky black with little or no light pollution. It was the most wonderful feeling, being at one with nature, having just my thoughts to listen to, no distractions.
