The main river is on the rise, it is already 3.1m up at the gauge, it takes a couple of days to really rise as it comes from the Welsh Hills.

It is the local rain which is causing the problems, the brook has already topped it's banks, the road drains cannot cope. I have standing water on my garden and getting into town is a no no.

It is like a small river going across the roundabout.

What is it like where you are?

It the same here we are back on flood alert forecast more wind and rain today. I had a look on river cam and the one in the village is down.

Even as a courier returning from deliveries the other side of the Pennines I would always call in for a late breakfast.....Yum Yum!...

Beautiful Sunny day, here in Berkshire.

It's so hot that it's making my nose get longer!

Ooooh, you little pinnochio, Tdec, I have family in Newbury, and you must have an Angel's wings stopping it raining on your head!

I live not far from Swimmy so he has said it all about the weather here. Absolute Yukky.

Re: The Rain

Windy with squally showers here (West Berkshire), most of it has so far missed me. We're due for some heavier rain anytime now.

This is what it looks like on the radar....
