I've never seen any old rubbish at the auctions but then again I haven't been for years either. I too wonder how anyone could have the nerve to sell it if it's that bad. Another thing Dad bought a lot of was brass and copper. Warming pans, kettles, plates, bugles, all in my loft and nobody in the family wants it. I do have something else he bought, it's in the garden. A statue of a naked young cherub boy about 3' high, nobody wanted that either, he's lovely.Re: Auctions.
Thankyou All, That clock has been in my Family for a long while now, that's the only place in this house I can put it. It used to sit in the Hall between 2 Doors in it's own wee Corner in my old House. I miss the sound of it when I'm up in Thurso, but it's the first thing I do when I come back to Perth. Come through the Back Door Start the Clock then fill the Kettle in that order lol.
