Going to have a relaxing day today - one of my Christmas gifts was a DVD - Seven Worlds, One Planet - going to put feet up and watch that with a few nibbles to hand!

Good morning everyone thank goodness all the Chrismas nonsense is out of the way and normality can return.

I am bread making this morning, it is dark and damp outside and a warm bread scented kitchen should brighten the gloom.



I am delighted to see my blackbird with an injured wing which hangs down is still around, this must be about the 4th year we have been graced with the presence of the cheery little bird.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.

It’s not raining this morning but very overcast and grey. Through the afternoon patchy rain is forecast, fairly mild though. Maximum temperature 9ºC.

Nothing planned for today so it is a ‘please myself day’!

Good morning everyone back to normal, Christmas is over for another year. Looking forward to Spring now.

It’s dark and dreary here but I must get out to the shops even if it is just to get outdoors and have some fresh air.

Good morning all

Not a thing planned today and I'm pleased about that....Ive had a really hectic Christmas so far so it's nice to have a break and just relax.

I hope everyone has had a happy few days and Santa brought you some goodies....just a few more celebrations and the New Year then back to normal.

Meant to say Meg the blackbird is lovely.....I discourage birds in my garden because of my cats who would consider him a tasty treat I'm so glad he survived
