Attacking Donkeys in Pakistan

What a cruel country is Pakistan .
For a political stunt they have started to attack donkeys .
Can you believe the mentality of such people ?

OMG how awful those poor donkeys. I actually couldn't read it all as it made me feel physically sick.

Re: Attacking Donkeys in Pakistan

It is terrible .
But apparantly quite usual in Pakistan .

Is it any wonder we have Halal slaughter here mainly for the benefit of people who have no compassion for animals at all.

How they allow Halal practice in our so called civilised country is beyond me

Re: Attacking Donkeys in Pakistan

I can't bring myself to even look at the links Muddy, sorry.

I have adored donkeys all my life, still do. I support the donkey sanctuary over here.

If I see anyone hurting them it will upset me greatly and play on my mind,
so I'm going to have to be an ostrich I'm afraid.

I don't blame you Mups I am horrified by these actions too.
That is why I can't understand why we allow our own cruelty laws to be undermined for the benefit of people who come from a land where cruelty is the norm .

I'm another who won't look at the links for the same reason Mups gave. Almost avoided the thread altogether when I saw the title, but had a sneak peak anyway...

Re: Attacking Donkeys in Pakistan

It's the mindless senseless cruelty for political reasons .
It's common to dress donkeys in American or Israeli flags and then beat them.
Good heavens these are people who are cruel to women why should they even consider animals ?
In fact they don't .

These are the times when I think it is okay to swear on a forum. I won't type what I'm thinking though.

Re: Attacking Donkeys in Pakistan

Why the shock? It's their "culture" to subjugate women, murder daughters who step out of line, mutilate offenders. Animals don't stand a chance.
