Re: Who Are The Biggest Fibbers... Men Or Women?

Now when a woman does something wrong like pranging the car, the man says 'Don't worry about it, it's only metal, the main thing is that you are ok. Sit down and I'll make you a nice cup of tea.'

On the other hand, when a man leaves a saucepan on a little too long (Just an example picked out of the air, any resemblance to real life is purely coincidental )

It's more like;

'What's that burning smell?'

'Is it in the kitchen?'

'What have you burnt?'

'Why did you do that?'

'How can you forget a saucepan?'

'Those marks won't come off you know'

The next day

'Have you tried cleaning that saucepan yet?'

' I don't understand how you could forget it'

Three years later.

'Do you remember that time you burnt the saucepan'

It's no wonder we tell fibs wherever possible.

I don't like fibbers of any gender. Unless it's a white lie so that you're not deliberately hurting anyone.

We all lie when it suits us to do so. Reasons may vary with the sexes but we're all flawed and would at least stretch the truth if necessary.
