I wonder how such an approach would work out if fishers from denmark go on fishing in british waters. What court of law would put sanctions on them?

A secret mossad agent wouldn't understand the subtleties of intelligence? Who could be better at that game?

Our armed forces - and we could and hopefully would impose stinging import duties on goods from Denmark.

Are you now telling me that in britain the courts send the army as a sanction? What kind of state is that!

And by your answer in post # 160, if we chose to simply ignore your sanctions, just get stuffed! Your main import from denmark is fish, by the way.

If you fish illegally in UK territorial waters you will be prosecuted under UK laws. The boats will be seized and will be fined heavily.

As for sanctions, this can be done through the WTO, of which the UK and the EU are members. Other countries that are WTO members can vote in favour of putting sanctions on the EU until it stops breaking the law.

Expect massive consequences for illegal fishing Solash.

Hi

The WTO has Rules, Favoured Nation System.

We have to comply with them.

There needs to be a sense of Reality here.

There are things we can do and there are things we cannot do.

The EU is one WTO Bloc, we cannot impose individual Sanctions on Member States.

Yes, despite what they naysayers might insist, there is such a thing as international law and, as far as I know, that includes international sea areas owned by individual countries.

The EU leaders are so used to getting their own way, it seems that they think they can take over our sea areas in the same way they'd like to take over our land!
