Actually he's spouting utter drivel because like it or not the government elected to and did trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. At that point discussion of the referendum is meaningless. Parliament HAS triggered Article 50, it HAS signalled its intention to leave and so discussion must then move to the provisions of Article 50.

It permits a member state to :

1. leave with an agreed Withdrawal Deal
2. Walk away

Both perfectly legal options for leaving.

Option 2 should happen by default after 2 years if no deal is reached unless the deadline is extended.

The situation we have is that we have an utterly corrupt parliament, clearly working for the EU and not for the British people, who have drafted and passed a Bill to overrule option 2 there of that Lisbon Treaty. That they have done so is pure treason and dictatorship.

They have absolutely no mandate to prevent BrExit nor to p*ss about with the Lisbon Treaty.

So the corrupt parliament has engineered a stalemate situation where :

a) They won't vote for an EU deal
b) They won't permit no deal

which essentially means they won't permit BrExit at all

As I said they have absolutely no mandate to do that. None whatsoever.

We thus have a rogue parliament usurping the democratic system of this country, acting as a dictatorship and ignoring the wishes of the people. A banana republic.

Worse still we have now the judiciary chipping in, which is unelected by and unaccountable to the British people, overturning parliamentary decisions and thus taking political sides and abusing totally their power which is supposed to be wholly impartial.

The impact of that is utterly staggering and devastating.

We now have a tyranny

This can not end well.

So in conclusion, your prediction is the UK will revoke article 50 in the nearby future. You may be right.

A couple of guys there hit the nail on the head Julie when
they said parliament voted overwhelmingly to invoke A50!
So the whole slimy lot of them have now changed their
minds?
The stupididity of the hoc was on display once again after
us having some relief from the bedlam for the last week?

Who do the 11 supreme court judges answer to, and under their new law John Major is guilty of his action to avoid cash for questions in the nineties.

The "UK" ?

A pretty arbitrary term to use don't you think?

The UK is the collection of citizens, who have no power at all to invoke or revoke article 50 and whose votes or mandates mean nothing to the current corrupt parliament.

So what you really mean is that the current banana republic collection of EU operatives working in our parliament may decide to revoke Article 50.

Who knows Anything is now possible.

To be honest there seems little reason now to continue at all with the charade that is Westminster. It was abolished in 2009 10 years ago when we were signed up to the Lisbon Treaty. So were our UK political parties.

Now that they are all showing outwardly that they are in fact just operatives of the EU they may as well just admit it and declare that Britain isn't a democracy and that Westminster doesn't really exist and that people no longer have any vote or say in anything.

To be fair the Supreme Court engaging in this whole political face is ridiculous and probably the final straw. They are unelected, unaccountable people in positions of power (much like the megalomaniacs running the EU!) and should have absolutely no interest in politics.

We are now officially a dictatorship.

Run by a set of people that people can't really see, who they can't vote for and who they can't hold to account.
